THURSDAY THROW OUT

Welcome back, yet again, to another addition of the Thursday throw out!  This week has been hectic. School starts Tuesday, so we are in full prep mode at my house. Bagging up old cloths, gearing up for school shopping this weekend.  I have been making headway on my edits and hope to be done soon...I know you have heard that before, but I have two jobs and a 9 year old so things take time for me. This week I am bringing you a piece from Scarred My second work that I now have in the proof reading stage with a friend. I love this story, basically because I wrote about the life I always imagined for myself, aside from the rich family. I hope that everyone will fall as madly in love with the characters as I have. But knowing that it is a series of at least two books and I have the attention span of a ferret you may see a few other books before its sequel is done. Just like Muse, which I am planning three books and two novellas for I have the second book started...right a...

Tis the Thursday Throwout!!

Welcome back!! Once again with the edits! I have fallen asleep twice this week with my laptop open on my lap and mouse in hand. If anyone ever tells you its easy to change the tense of an entire book, it's not!! I only have five more chapters to go though so, there is an end in sight! I hope you are as eager for the re-release as I am!. I have gone into creativity hibernation lately, staring at blank pages endlessly, before giving up and going back to edits. I keep telling myself that I need to get that one done, and then I will have time to focus on writing. Unfortunately, I have to edit an entire second novel after that is done so..who knows. Hopefully my brain will thaw  before I loose all sense of direction....hopefully. Any hoo, I am bringing you a piece from captured today. You may remember this as the book about the girl who was kidnapped. It has been a while since we have touched on this book. I presented the Prologue to you on 10/25/13 if you would like to look into ...

tHURSDAY THROW OUT!

Well,Well..it seems its Thursday again. Thus I am faced with the daunting task of figuring out what it is I want to bring you this week. I have been working so hard on edits that I have had little to no time to write..I just want this thing done!!! I fear that all this time I have been talking about this book I am writing, and it is going to fail to measure up to your expectations. Oh well, I cant let the fear of striking out, prevent me from playing the game right?? On to the teaser!!! Concept: I leave Jesse and Cody at the front doors and go to find a parking spot.   The parking ramp is adjacent to the hospital so I make my way across the street. I drive   to the fourth floor because I know there is a sky way that leads into the hospital. After five minutes of driving in circles I finally spot an open bay.   Locking the doors of the BMW I turn toward the sky way only to find the passage blocked by construction tape and cones. Cursing under my breath I start ...

THURSDAY THROW OUT!!

HELLO ALL AND WELCOME TO ANOTHER WEEK OF THE THURSDAY THROW OUT!! Just got back from school shopping with the only child on the planet who actually WANTS to back to school. I guess i cant blame her, being an only child can be boring.  But I think that even at her age, I was certain that school was a place they sent kids to torture them. heheh Anyhoo, not much to report this week. Doing my bet to keep a positive attitude. This, for me , is harder than it sounds..so i will digress and give you what you came for. This week is a little piece of my concept..that still has no name. hope you enjoy!! Concept “You are sixteen years old! The captain of the hockey team! For god sake, you are a strait A student! I thought you would be smarter than this!” I stop wearing a rut in my living room carpet and turn to him. I was hoping for an argument, a defiant look, anything but what I found. A single tear drifts down his cheek as he tentatively lifts his head to my glare. My heart d...
