THURSDAY THROW OUT!!
HELLO ALL AND WELCOME TO ANOTHER WEEK OF THE THURSDAY THROW OUT!!
Just got back from school shopping with the only child on the planet who actually WANTS to back to school. I guess i cant blame her, being an only child can be boring. But I think that even at her age, I was certain that school was a place they sent kids to torture them. heheh
Anyhoo, not much to report this week. Doing my bet to keep a positive attitude. This, for me , is harder than it sounds..so i will digress and give you what you came for. This week is a little piece of my concept..that still has no name. hope you enjoy!!

“You are sixteen
years old! The captain of the hockey team! For god sake, you are a strait A
student! I thought you would be smarter than this!” I stop wearing a rut in my
living room carpet and turn to him. I was hoping for an argument, a defiant
look, anything but what I found. A single tear drifts down his cheek as he
tentatively lifts his head to my glare.
My heart dips in
my chest as I realize what I see before me. I am not looking at my son, I am
seeing myself, seventeen years ago. My son is the exact same age I was when I
sat on that same couch and told my father the same thing. Brad’s mother, god
rest her soul, was pregnant, and I was the father.
“Oh god son,
please forgive me.” I say as I sink down beside him. Wrapping him in an
embrace, he falls to pieces.

Well thatis it!! hope you stop back next week!!
