It has been two weeks since the release of my book and sales are slow. If the fact that you do not have an e-reader is holding you back, Nook and Kindle both have free apps that can be downloaded to any device. This weekend will be a great time to purchase , as I will be putting it on sale for 0.99 ALL WEEKEND. So if you were thinking about it but did not want to pay the 2.99 here is your chance! I am trying desperately to get back into writing volume two. I just keep staring at the page and drawing a blank. Maybe I need to skip around a little more. I am working on getting my mail chimp account set up so I can get a mailing list of those who want the muse accompanying novellas sent to them FOR FREE!! once those are ready. I also have been having a heck of a time trying to get my book on Ibooks, which is monumentally frustrating!! Just trying to log in is a PITA!!

Any way, enough of my struggles and on to the goods!!

Muse Vol 2.

 I look Cyrus in the eye, cementing my resolve in stone. Psyche wanted to hurt me by taking Jesson. The same way she thought I had hurt her when Seth left Olympus with me. To me the solution was obvious. If I wanted Jesson back, I had to go get him. But how?

Katie stepped forward placing a hand on Apollo’s shoulder. I plead to her with my eyes to think about what she is about to say. She shakes her head minutely and gives me a calming smile. I can feel the heat of Apollo’s soothing powers wash over me as she begins to speak.

“We can learn a lot from the stars, sister. In our solar system, the planets revolve around the sun, their axis. If the sun were to fail, the whole galaxy would die with it. The sun gives the other planets strength, it holds them together, gives them life. After you left Olympus, our world became dark. Once Zeus was under Psyche’s control, we had to hide ourselves so she would not imprison us. Those that were taken were drained of their life force by her magic, and only the strong were able to survive.” She squeezes Apollo’s shoulder and glances at Aphrodite. “However, since Eros brought us here, our strength has returned. We no longer feel helpless. That was you, sister, you are our sun, and we would not dream of letting you do this alone.”

EEEP!!! I know that this volume will be better than vol 1. I just hope it does not take as long!! AS always share, like, spam me out!!

A word of advice. Never become a writer. Why? Well, I will tell you. Eventually, you start to believe your own bullshit.  Delude yourself into seeing things that aren't there. You are convinced at first that situations are innocent, then your friends say they are not, and you believe them. Just trust your instincts. Fairy tales are just that. Never going to happen. Especially not to me. So I open my mouth, loaded with misconceived information, that I didn't want to believe to begin with, and now I am pretty sure I fucked something up that could have pretty awesome. With a little help from my friends Thursday throw out

So I was given a some constructive criticism from a beta who's opinion I value greatly. She was not a fan of my original prologue for one of my books. I redid it with the suggestions she gave me. After several drafts, trying out different concepts, I finally had something I thought was acceptable. Unfortunately, I am still in love with my first idea. This is where you come in! Tonight I am posting both prologues for said book. I want to put it to a vote. If you could please read both versions posted below. Every picture tells a story

So I have had time to process the suggestions given by my Beta and I have now organized them in such a way the my brain can process. 1. revamp prologue it sucks..well at least reword and add to it 2. Decide weather or not you want to take out things that personalize it to me...how much of myself do i want to leave on paper. 3. re-evaluate the refrences 4. it needs more muchness 5. suck it up..you can do this So here I sit staring at the picture that my daughter drew me, the back of which, where the first words of muse were laid out on paper.  It took me only a few seconds for this picture to inspire my story. Maybe if i stare at it long enough it will tell me how to proceed.
