WELCOME BACK TO THE THURSDAY THROW OUT!!

Hello all,

It has been a eventful couple of weeks for me and I apologise for the hiatus. I spent the better part of last week preparing for the spawns birthday party last Saturday, so I had to take a little break.

EDITS, EDITS, EDITS!!! That has been the name of the game for the time I have been able to spend on writing. I swear that doing edits makes me crabby. I am far better a writer than I am an editor, my dyslexia hinders my abilities to see what most writers pick up easily. Unfortunately, my lack of funds hinders my abilities to hire a professional so I plug away at it as i can.

I also believe that as a writer, not being able to spend time on writing makes you irritable as well. I am stuck correcting and adding things to something I have already written, rather than letting out the ideas that i have swirling in my head. I think it gives me migraines hehe.

on to this weeks MUSEings (see what I did there :D )

JESSONS POV

Jesson

I watch as she flops into the chair in her normal spot by the window. I have been watching her for weeks, but she has yet to notice me. I cannot explain the unearthly pull I have toward her. I mean, she is crazy pretty, with her chestnut hair and shockingly blue eyes. She also has a beautiful body, the type that is thin but curvy at the same time.

I make her favorite drink and wait for her to come to the counter. She glances slightly over her shoulder so I take the opportunity to acknowledge that I made her chai already.

“Iced chai with whipped cream?” I call out to her, but she just turns back toward the window. I decide to try again. “Hellooo, Stella, that’s what you drink, right?” At the sound of her name, she turns toward me, giving me a bitchy look.

“How do you know what I drink?” She answers, attempting to erase the look of disgust she seems to have adopted.

“You’ve only been ordering it every day for the last six months,” I say as I move toward her, drink in hand. “You don’t recognize me do you? I am Jesson. I sit behind you in social science. I’ve also been working here for the past six months, but obviously you haven’t noticed.”

“Stella,” she introduces herself and thanks me, then turns back toward the window.

I shake my head; she is definitely not interested in me. I stand there just long enough to make things awkward. As I walk away, I mutter “I know...uhh...this one’s on me,” She glances at me and holds my eyes momentarily, then gives me a small smile. I watch her pull out her mp3 player and stuff in her ear buds, after a few minutes she gets up to throw out her cup.
******

Well that is what I have this week...I am hoping to provide something remarkable next week when I have more time to devote to actual writing. Pleas Like, share, COMMENT, I love comments!! and I hope to See you back next week!
