THURSDAY THROW OUT
Hello all!!
Welcome to another addition of the Thursday throw out! It has been a long week, and with the weather here in MN FINALLY taking a turn for the better it has been very hard to focus on my writing, but I have been trying very hard to get edits in when I can. At this point the only thing keeping me going is the hope that someday this will all be worth the long hours and headaches!.
I found myself thinking about music, and how musicians are probably the best poets in the world. I dabbled once, in song writing but since I am not a musician it makes that process a lot harder than I thought it would be. SO, I guess writing novels is far better a vocation for me! At least, I hope it is!
On to the teaser!!
Well that is it for this week ...please leave feedback, I love it!! remember to like an share!!

“What do you want from me Brayden? Why do you follow me around in
bars, and show up at my restaurant? Why do you seem to know everything about
me? I didn’t even know who you were until two weeks ago.”
His eyes drop to
the floor. “We’ve met once before. At my sister’s wedding, your restaurant did
the catering.”
The restaurant
had not catered more than a handful of weddings and it had been over a year
since the last reception. I pick my brain for any recollection of meeting him.
Truthfully, I could not even remember the names of the families we catered for.
From the look on his face, I could see that he knew I did not remember. His
eyes darkened and he retreated behind his desk.
“I had just
returned home after being deployed and wanted to surprise my sister. I missed
the ceremony and my sister was chastising me by the kitchen entrance. You came
out with your crew to start serving the main course. I had stayed behind and let
my sister return to her guests. I did not want to take away from her night by
drawing any attention from her. You brought me into the kitchen and gave me a
plate, salad, and dessert. When I was done, you thanked me for serving my
country with a tear in your eye.” Turning toward the widow he whispers; “I
couldn’t get you out of my head from that day forward.”
