Welcome to the thursday throw out!

Sometimes all you can do is laugh to avoid crying. After two years of work I finally publish Muse, only to take it down after less than a week. The irony is that I had been waiting for it to post on KOBO because it would not let me delist it until it officially published. Tonight I go to check to see if it had listed yet...and there it was loud and proud on sale in the European market. It was nice to fool myself for a second, into thinking it was back on the market. Then promptly hitting delist (sad face) I bopped over to post my weekly ramblings.

I love that there are people in my life that will tell me what I need to hear, and talk me down from my neurotic spaz outs. I really appreciate that they will say "hey, this has a ton of mistakes!" or " stop freaking out, you are taking things too personally!" These friends know who they are, and  I thank you and love you all!!.

That being said, I continue my search for content betas, and have enlisted some new spelling and grammar betas. One that graciously offered to help fix Muse which I appreciate. I feel at this point I should be able to write ANOTHER book about how NOT to publish an e-book. I know i have made every mistake possible. But not to be detoured, I have been hard at work on Muse Vol 2 and hope to have made considerable progress by the time I get Volume 1 up and live (again).

On to the teasers!!

Muse Vol. 2

I watch as the scene around me starts to wobble. As we approach a building in the distance, a portal seems to open before us. Eros angles us towards it as the men close in. I flinch when I feel something skim across my cheek, leaving a burning in its wake. Eros let out a loud grunt, just as we cross the threshold of the portal he created.
I feel the cool damp sand under my feet once we are through. In the pale moonlight, I watch Eros fall to his knees, wildly grasping at his back. With a scream, he pulls something from his shoulder blade, violently throwing it down the beach.
“Achilles is deadly with a knife.” He grumbles, as he turns his face toward mine. He reaches up and runs his thumb across my cheek. “He got you too.” He says, wiping his hands on his robes. My skin prickles from the heat of his touch. I place my hand over the spot savoring the contact.

Scarred

“I am Mrs. Jenson; I will take care of anything you may need. Breakfast is at eight, lunch noon, after that you are on your own. There are several restaurants in Cannon Falls, or you can cook whatever you want, help yourselves. She motions toward a door to our left that has the word kitchen painted across it in a beautiful script. She lumbers along with the little dog at her heels. This is the common room, patio out those doors. She points around the room to whence she is referring. We follow her up a grand staircase to a large private suite. This is the biggest room; there are four others down the hall. You paid for privacy, Mr. Dayton I will let you choose. I am going to start lunch, I hope you like walleye.” She seemed un-amused by the whole situation. I could not help but stifle a giggle when she retreated down the stairs.
“She seemed fascinating; I know we will be Best Friends!” I say slathering on the sarcasm. Brayden rolls his eyes at me and sets our bags down.

Thanks for coming to visit once again...hopefully i w ill be a published author again soon, but for now  i hope I have enticed you enough to get you back next week..like and share.
