Welcome Friends
Hello and welcome to my page :D
I cant even begin to explain how excited I am to start this new chapter of my life. I have always loved to write but never thought I would find use for it, save for the term papers, work proposals, and sappy high school love poems.
About a year and a half ago I asked for a laptop for my one gift that I get a year with the premise i would use it to write a book. Now here I sit, a book in beta, and a second almost finished. Wow who would have guessed..definitely not me.
As I begin this journey I want to thank everyone who encouraged me along the way. The high school boyfriend that made the book for me to write my poems in. The English teachers who encouraged me to write what was in my heart. The college professors who recognized my talent, and of course the friends and family who humored me but never discouraged me. Please know that I love you all.
All the sappy stuff aside, it is time I made my point. I am planning on "blogging" weekly. Maybe calling it the Thursday throw out or something clever..suggestions are welcome. My point being to update my readers on releases, current projects, cover reveals, ect. I also plan on sharing snippets of my work, "teasers" if you will. so I though I would start this week with a little from both of my current works.
I hope you enjoy :) remember to like and share

“That
is totally not fair, you know that right? I thought she was going to pass out,
or worse pee her pants!” Seth chuckled as I scolded him. “You can’t just go
around getting the entire campus hot and bothered while you’re here Seth, you
need to behave”
“Oh
I don’t know, maybe I’ll enroll for a semester, college girls are fun. Besides,
we need to spend some time together; it’s been far too long since we’ve caused
some trouble.” He shot me a mischievous look “It’ll be just like old times.
Maybe we can get another book or movie written about us. There has to be a
better love story for this generation than teenage vampire angst. Why should
the vamps, wolves and nephilim get all the glory?”
“I’m not so sure that Northfield
Minnesota is ready for you just yet Seth. Speaking of which, you still have not
told me why you were here yet. I find it hard to believe that you just missed me,”
I said to him as thick with sarcasm as I could muster.
New Book (currently untitled)
Israel to ???
“Can I help you?” I look at him blankly.
“Err…Yea. What was that?” He says motioning toward the dining room.
“It’s his birthday?” I say questioning his line of thought.
“No its not! And his server should be tending to the customer not you!” He half
screams it at me.
I raise my eyebrows. “Excuse me? I believe that I can sing to whomever I want.”
I spit at him with the correct level of disdain.
“Israel, you are one of the most revered chefs in the twin cities! I would
appreciate it if you would stay in the kitchen where you belong.”
Oh, no he did not!
That's it for this weeks blog ( god that sounds so dumb..definitely need a better name). Hope you enjoyed. Check back next week for more.
