Happy Labor Day Weekend All!!! Welcome to the Thursday throw-out. Over the past week, I have approached my writing with a renewed vigor.   I await my beta-tester with bated breath. Hoping I don’t turn blue before she returns my book to my waiting arms. Regardless, I am grateful for their services and will remain patient, until such time as she sees fit to return my baby. I have decided to dive headlong into my second volume of Muse, knowing that it will be a long journey. Scarred is still waiting it’s finishing touches before being sent to beta.   I am very confident in this, my second attempt, being a stronger novel than the first. I hope to revisit Brayden and Israel soon with a clear head and new ideas. Truthfully, I cannot wait for the Thursday I am posting a link to my First Novel, after it has gone live on Amazon.   However, until that time I will continue to post on Thursdays, sharing bits and pieces for you to sample. It’s thirsty Thursday and I hope everyone is thirsty for more teasers. I have been trying to knock out this new prologue. Looking at it I can’t decide if I really want to change the prologue or if I want to use this new one for the prologue on the next book. I respect the opinion of my Beta tester so I will assess this issue when I have had a chance to talk in detail with her about it. That being said my second project, that I am now fondly calling Scarred, Is sitting on the back burner screaming for attention. I am starting to wonder when and if this is ever going to get off the ground. I can assure you that I will at least get the projects I am currently working on published. I am unable to leave anything unfinished so I will likely put out Muse Vol. 2 as soon as possible. I am going to avoid reading any reviews like the plague until these are complete and on the KDP market. Not that I don’t value people’s opinions, I just do not want to get discouraged. It's that day again...Thursday...and almost the weekend. Got to love it J Time for some more progress updates and excerpts from my work.   I noticed today, that many of the writers I emulate have several series going at once. Then I thought to myself: Self, we need to work harder at this. In which I then replied (to myself); and when do you plan on sleeping??? So needless to say I need to get this show on the road. Unfortunately this is hard when you rely on others for their services as well…but patients have always been one of my better qualities. I would rather wait for what I need, then put out a product I can’t be proud of. Given the fact that this is my first effort..I’m guessing it will need a lot of work. So those who are waiting for me to get this out, just remember,   I am in the same boat, with only one oar.   So I was given some advice by my beta tester, which has me in the middle of a re-write of my preface. Hi all, So this is my feeble attempt at cover art....I hope that the Microsoft word art skills i have are not too terribly apparent. It still could be changed, but I think I did a pretty good job. :) ***FEEDBACK PLEASE****

         As you may or may not have noticed from last weeks post I am blogging a day early. This time tomorrow I will likely be in bed trying to sleep off three hours of dental work. On the bright side I finally found a Dentist that didn't tell me I had to rip out all my teeth soo...bonus :). It has been a stressful week. I finally got through my first round of edits and found a new beta tester to help me get this dream off the ground. I decided that I would give a go at designing my own cover art. Thanks to advice from the KDP community forum, I found some good bulk photo sights and therein I found a perfect conceptual picture. ***\(*_*\)  (/*_*)/*** Happy dance. Hopefully soon there will be a cover reveal :) in the meantime if any of you would like to design some cover art hit me up. More progress on the second novel. Hello and welcome to my page :D I cant even begin to explain how excited I am to start this new chapter of my life. I have always loved to write but never thought I would find use for it, save for the term papers, work proposals, and sappy high school love poems.  About a year and a half ago I asked for a laptop for my one gift that I get a year with the premise i would use it to write a book. Now here I sit, a book in beta, and a second almost finished. Wow who would have guessed..definitely not me.  As I begin this journey I want to thank everyone who encouraged me along the way. The high school boyfriend that made the book for me to write my poems in. The English teachers who encouraged me to write what was in my heart. The college professors who recognized my talent, and of course the friends and family who humored me but never discouraged me. Please know that I love you all.  All the sappy stuff aside, it is time I made my point. I am planning on "blogging" weekl...
