Wow it's Thursday! And here is my throwout!

Happy Thursday all!! Another week, another throwout! I am looking forward to a long awaited weekend off to work on my editing and writing (after I clean my house). I also have to focus on getting over this unfortunate bout of laryngitis that has a hold on me. Its quite problematic to be voiceless when your job (and demeanor) rely on it....Maybe I will have to send the wee one away so I can save my voice....like that will happen! Progress this week: slow. I have been working on the Jesson's POV a bit. However, I have been focusing on getting my edits for Muse buttoned up. I have been told countless times, by several people, that it is a good story, it just needs some rewording...so that is what I am focusing on. So This week I am sifting through some files to bring you an excerpt that you may like. Hope this suits you Scarred:              Dayton gushed to the audience about the food. My cheeks felt as if they were g...

So glad its friday throw out!

Well I obviously dropped the ball yesterday. I was on the evening shift and super busy..completely spaced my throwout!! No excuse is valid, and I apologise. I discovered something this week that made me smile. I was reading a new book and noticed that it was only 145 pages(kindle) and it was an excellent book!. I have been concerned that Muse (at 185 pages kindle) was too short, but this proved to me that a good book can be any length. I am still editing and I know i have to expand some areas, so it will end up being longer. However, I had planned on adding a few chapters from Jesson's POV, which I may now turn into a novella Muse 1.5. Jesson's  story. (tentative) That being said, I am going to give you a taste of what I have already penned for Jesson..hope you like it :) Jesson's POV      Stella fell into my arms unconscious, obviously shaken by what she had seen beyond the rain covered windows. I gasped when her skin touched mine, once...

Throwout Thursday

Well another week gone by. I finally sucked up my annoyance and plunged headfirst into my edits for muse. Which is both a relief and a burden. A burden, because, I have decided it is far too short, and needs a measurable amount of detail and content added. A relief, because I have finally resigned myself to the understanding that is is not going to be done anytime soon. I apologise for jumping the proverbial gun and releasing it so early, but if you actually bought it, i will make sure you get an updated version when I re-release. I have decided that I need to be able to spend much more time on this than I actually have. My dream job would be a stay at home mom/writer like most of the people I constantly wait for on amazon. I swear one of my favorites kicks out two or three books a month...wow to have that much time to devote to this..I would be a happy girl. This weeks throw out is a little different from most. I woke up last night around midnight, searching high and low for a...

Light reading for the weekend

I have had a pretty tough week, which isn't over just yet. Fires, funerals, and catastrophic car failures, oh my. Alas, this is life. I again don't have much by way of updates. I would like to put out there that if anyone is interested in helping me edit (and by that I mean going through and fixing what the betas tell me is wrong) I would appreciate it. I think that this is what is holding Muse back the most. I spent two years perfecting it, only to be told it was fatally flawed once i e-pub'd it. GAH! I don't know if its sheer frustration or lack of motivation that is keeping me from re-doing the whole book. Hence the need for a partner to help. Interested parties please inbox me on my author fb page.  Anyhoo! I have been spending much of my writing time on Captured. Still not sure if that is the name I am going with but, it works for now. On to the teaser! CAPTURED Jami Samuels, my sisters fiancĂ©, is walking slowly. His head is hanging low, hands stuffed in ...
