BOO! \(*o*\) ITS HALLOWEEN!

Welcome to the   Thursday throw out! As I am sure many of you will be out with the kiddos tonight instead of Reading my blog. I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween, and that your kids got lots of good candy you can steal! Instead of working on sequels like a good little writer I have dove headlong into My new book captive. I am only a couple of chapters into it, but I thought this week I would share the premise of the story with all of you, since I am running out of teasers I can share without them becoming spoilers! Please keep in mind the summary is the hardest part of a book for me to write so I hope this does not sound dumb! Thanks again and Happy Halloween!! Captive Tatum Kennedy is an Registered Nurse from Pittsburgh PA. She embarks on a trip with her party girl twin, Sara, to celebrate her sisters pending nuptials. What they didn’t know was, this would be their last trip together. Now Tatum is left to hunt down her sisters killer with the help of ...

A SPECIAL THURSDAY THROW OUT!!

Happy Thursday to all ! Sorry this is coming late in the evening again, but alas it is evening shift week. Lots of great progress this week. I got Scarred off to beta, and I checked on the progress of Muse and it seems to be coming right along. As I promised earlier this week I will be sharing the entire Prologue to my third work, Captured (tentative name) in its entirety tonight. This will be a romantic thriller ( I think) and I hope to get it done quickly. I also am happy to say I finally have over 100 likes on my Star Kava Author Facebook page so you can expect to see polls, giveaways and other exciting things coming from that media as well!   You can like my page by selecting the like button on the ß left side of the page. ON TO THE TEASER!!                                       ...

THURSDAY THROW OUT!!!

Well its Thursday, another week gone by, and my how time flies. I am finding the frustration of setting the goal of getting my first work out by the end of this month to be building. It seems there are not enough hours in the day to get all of the editing done the way it should be done. I have to bug my one copyeditor again soon to see how far she is. I again would like a volunteer for   Scarred if you should be so inclined.             So here I sit trying my best to roll out some snippets that have substance but don’t give anything away. I am pretty sure that is the hardest part of the weekly blog. I need some new material in a hurry! Unfortunately I don’t want to start ( or proceed ) with anything new until I have something submitted for “print”..(is that what you call e-book format, does not sound right??)        ...

I FIXED IT!!!

<---- CHECK IT OUT MY OWN FACEBOOK BUTTON!! NOW YOU CAN LIKE MY PAGE DIRECTLY FROM THIS BLOG!!

The Thursday Throw Out

Welcome to another addition of the Thursday throw out. I have been working hard the past week at formatting BOTH Muse and Scarred and am working on edits as we speak. I finished Scarred earlier this week and am now doing my best to work on some edits and formatting the two for kindle. I truly cannot wait so I have embarked on another read through of both books hoping I can catch some of my punctuation edits, which I believe to be my biggest weakness. Still would like a volunteer to copy edit, or do a read through of Scarred for me. Please let me know if you are able to help. I would appreciate it. I hope that soon I will be able to pay a professional for their services…until then alas; I rely on the kind hearts of friends. My little girl said to me “Mama, why do you spend so much time on your laptop?” my response was “Because one day I want to be able to be able to spend a lot more time with you.” This made her smile, and then she said, “I know you will be good at this mom, ...

Thursday throw out!!

Yet another week has passed in the world. The government shut down, but luckily I am deemed an essential employee so here I sit on my dinner break at the VA pulling together your weekly teasers.   This is the post that almost didn’t happen! I just checked my blogger to see if there were any comments and low and behold five people had checked my page today (happy face). Then I remembered it was Thursday!! Having to do the night shift turns my world on its ear, so if every third week I am a little off SOMEONE PLEASE REMIND ME ON FB to post. Well Israel and Brayden are all consuming this past week and I am starting to think I should break their story into two parts. I just love them so much that I am not willing to put an end to their story just yet. I know this may sound strange, but I live vicariously through the characters I create. I will never be from old money, I will never have supernatural powers, or have beautiful men falling at my feet, but in my dreams I do! (Current...
